A group of people sit around a table theorising, categorising and telling stories. Their real purpose is never quite clear, but they continue on, searching for the monstrous.

Part satire, part sacred rite, The Antipodes asks what value stories have for a world in crisis. First seen at Signature Theatre, New York, in 2017, the play had its UK premiere at the National Theatre, London, in 2019.

Meet Your Book Seller

A dedicated home for stage and screen.

Hi, I’m Jack, a musician, conductor and lifelong enthusiast of film and theatre. After founding The Studio Orchestra, a 70-piece orchestra celebrating the music of stage and screen, I left an eight-year career in supply chain planning to build the bookshop I’d always wished existed.

Fourth Wall was born from a frustration: books about film and theatre are too often confined to a small corner. I wanted to give plays, screenplays, behind-the-scenes books and creative craft a dedicated home - one designed for curiosity, inspiration and discovery.

If I can help in anyway then you can always reach out to me on jack@fourthwallbookshop.co.uk
