We aim to pack and dispatch your books as quickly and carefully as possible.
Orders placed before 1pm, Monday to Friday, will normally be dispatched the same working day.
Orders placed after 1pm will be dispatched on the next working day. Orders placed after 1pm on Friday, or during a weekend or bank holiday, will normally be dispatched on the next working day.
During particularly busy periods, including new releases and promotional events, dispatch may take slightly longer. We will contact you if there is a significant delay to your order.
Standard Delivery — £3.50
Sent using Royal Mail Tracked 48. Royal Mail aims to deliver within two to three working days following dispatch.
Express Delivery — £4.50
Sent using Royal Mail Tracked 24. Royal Mail aims to deliver on the next working day following dispatch.
Free Standard Delivery on orders of £25 or more
UK orders with a total value of £25 or more qualify for free Royal Mail Tracked 48 delivery. Express Delivery remains available for £4.50.
Delivery estimates begin from the date your order is dispatched, not the date it is placed. Royal Mail Tracked 24 and Tracked 48 delivery times are estimates rather than guarantees, and deliveries may occasionally take longer due to circumstances outside our control.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email containing your Royal Mail tracking information. Please allow a short time for the tracking status to update.
Please check that your delivery address is correct before completing your order. If you notice an error, contact us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed once an order has been processed or dispatched.
We cannot accept responsibility for orders delivered to an incorrect address supplied at checkout.
If your order has not arrived within seven working days of its expected delivery date, please contact us with your order number so that we can investigate with Royal Mail.
We take great care when packing every order. If your books arrive damaged, please contact us as soon as possible and include your order number and photographs of the item and packaging. We will arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.

We’re delighted to offer tracked delivery to customers in the USA and Canada.
International orders are dispatched from the UK using Royal Mail International Tracked or International Tracked Heavier. Parcels are passed to the local postal service for final delivery. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout according to the combined weight of the products ordered.
Delivery usually takes approximately 5–10 working days from dispatch. This is an estimate rather than a guaranteed delivery timeframe, and orders may occasionally take longer due to customs processing, local postal delays or public holidays. Tracking information will be emailed once your order has been dispatched.
Please provide a complete and accurate delivery address, email address and mobile telephone number when ordering. These details may be required by Royal Mail, customs authorities and the local delivery service.
Orders to the USA are sent using a Postal Delivered Duties Paid service. Where applicable, estimated customs duties and import charges will be calculated and displayed separately at checkout. This is intended to prevent the recipient from being asked to pay the same charges when the parcel is delivered.
Customs charges can vary according to the value, classification and country of manufacture of the books ordered.
Shipping charges paid at checkout do not include Canadian import taxes, customs duties or carrier handling fees.
Orders entering Canada may be assessed for GST, HST, provincial taxes or customs duties. Canada Post may also apply a handling fee to taxable or dutiable parcels. Any such charges are determined by the Canadian authorities and are the responsibility of the recipient.
We are unable to predict or reimburse these charges. Refusing to pay an import charge may result in the parcel being returned to us.
International delivery availability depends on the total weight and dimensions of the order. If no delivery rate appears at checkout, the order exceeds one of our available shipping bands. Please contact us before ordering and we will confirm whether a suitable delivery service is available.
Please contact us before returning an international order. Unless an item is faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, international customers are responsible for arranging and paying for tracked return postage.
Original delivery charges, customs duties, import taxes and carrier handling fees are non-refundable, except where required by law. We recommend retaining proof of postage until your return has been completed.
