Good Will Hunting: Screenplay

Good Will Hunting is the screenplay by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, following a gifted young man who is reluctant to confront either his talent or his past.

Will Hunting works as a university cleaner while concealing an exceptional ability in mathematics. When a psychologist begins working with him, their conversations challenge the defences he has built around painful experiences and uncertain ambitions.

Funny, compassionate and concerned with people living on society’s margins, the script explores friendship, trust and the possibility of change. For screenwriters and film readers, this published screenplay offers an opportunity to study the dialogue and character relationships on the page.
